Instablogs Community, which was to be launched on 5th November, is being postponed by 9 days, i.e. the Community will now be officially launched on 14th Nov. 2006. But, everyone who has registered for beta drive of Instablogs need not worry. We will be inviting most of the people who have registered with us. So don’t forget to white-list Instablogs in your mail apps. And, there is another good news; every member will be able to invite 5 of his friends, to be a part of the Community.

Why the delay?

1. We have found a few bugs, thanks to our members, which we think we need to correct before going for a public launch.

2. We will be incorporating more hardware to our existing setup of our server cluster, which might result in few hours of downtime.

3. We currently have only few themes for MyBlog, we need to work on few more themes before the public launch.

4. We will be incorporating two major additional features; a) Conversation tracker b) Importing of existing blog feeds in MyBlog.
